I am so excited that my novella, A Lady by Day, will be out on November 26th as part of The Trouble with Virtue, an anthology with the fabulous Stephanie Laurens!

When I wrote this story, I fell head over heels for my hero, Sir Noah Rutledge. If he were real, I might have to shove poor Josephine out of the way and run off with him myself. (Not that she’d let me.) But don’t take my word for it. My characters in A Lady by Day have opinions of their own. In their words, Sir Noah is…

“…a mere mortal.” (Everyone should be allowed a bit of self-delusion once in awhile. Even Josephine.)
“…such a fascination.” (According to her friend. Watch out, Josephine.)
“…a mistake.” (Mm. Now I think we’re getting somewhere.)
“…definitely, absolutely going to hell.” (He ought to know.)

I’m guessing he’ll be going somewhere else, too. Josephine’s bed, for example. (But that’s pure speculation on my part.)
